Who wants to go to the 2008 World Series of Poker? Everyone? Okay, who can afford the $10,000 buy in? Okay, not so many. Well, you can win a spot at the WSOP by winning the Russ Martin Foundation‘s first No-Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament, which will be Saturday, Aug. 11, starting at noon at Paradise Cove in Southlake on Lake Grapevine. The buy in is just $500, and the grand prize is a ticket to play in the WSOP, including airfare and hotel. Other prizes include a one-year auto lease from D&M, a 42-inch plasma from Starpower, a party at Paradise Cove with a performance by the RMS Band, and four passes to do the Team Texas driving school at Texas Motor Speedway. Free food and booze for players, and Russ Martin will be emceeing and performing with his band.
