WICK SEZ: MAKE THE MAYORAL ELECTION A TRINITY REFERENDUM

|

Wick isn’t always right, as I found out today in a bet over the word “bloviate” (as applied to a mayoral candidate) in which I sided with him against the 15-year-old executive editor and lost $5.

But he’s genius on this one: Make Saturday’s mayoral election the real referendum on the Trinity River Corridor. Two candidates — Sam Coats and Don Hill — support Councilmember Angela Hunt’s petition for a new vote on the Trinity parkway/tollway.

If either wins, then support the petition. If both lose, then it’s over. Start digging.

What say you, Ms. Hunt?
