So Nancy was just describing to me the scene in her house last night and how the weather has her a little out of sorts. Goes like this: she’s dog-sitting for a friend. With her own dogs, that brings the total to four pooches in her house, and they were all going nuts over the thunder and wind and whatnot. Nancy decides to give them some Ambien, right? But not a full Ambien, because that would be too much. Clearly. She bites the pills in half to dose the dogs. Only, in the process, she winds up swallowing some of the Ambien herself. By 10 o’clock, she says, all the dogs “looked they were dead.” They were fine this morning. Nancy herself? I’m not so sure.
