Fine work by our colleagues/rivals Brian (“but my glory days were at D“) Sweany, Skip (“what day is it?”) Hollandsworth and Paul (“every day is my day”) Burka down at Texas Monthly tallying up the presidential donation proclivities of the high rollers in our city. GOP candidates clearly have the most favor, with a fine showing by Gary Griffith’s idol, Rudy Giuliani, and also the seemingly faltering John McCain. Dems went mostly for John Edwards and Barack Obama, with only two donations to Hillary Clinton. Fun reading and a few surprises.
