RE: SHIRT SHRIFT

|

A publishing-industry FrontBurnervian has this to say about Everman:

Everman High School just happens to the school I graduated from. My mom is friends with the superintendent and I’m really surprised the president of the school board resigned. In my opinion, insulting the race of students that make up the majority of the student population should have warranted the principal being fired, not causing the President of the school board his job. The guy needed to have the guts to call a vote to have her either suspended or fired, not to bow in the face of complaints and resign thinking that would fix the problem. There are 5 girls in my family and we all graduated from Everman High School. To say it’s not the school it was when we were there is true, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that we care about the city and the school system and hope they can figure things out.
