THEY’VE GOT MAIL

|

The DMN is reporting that it has filed suit against the City of Dallas over requested emails “related to housing and to a tax abatement for oilman Ray Hunt.” Requests made by the paper on several occasions sought documents involving key words including “Ray” or “Laura” or “abatement.”

The City has failed to turn over the emails. The News says the suit was filed Friday. This is Tuesday of the following week. Not enough staff to report it earlier? Or was someone else going to break the story?
