SLAM DUNKIN’

|

I grew up on the north end of Richardson, back when Central Expressway was two lanes. My family went to many a SMU football game, as well as Dallas Tornado games, at Ownby Stadium. I still remember the long drive home, made not as long when we stopped at the Dunkin’ Donuts at Spring Valley to get breakfast for the next morning. Ah, memories.

That Dunkin’ Donuts is gone, but according to this story, we in Dallas will see a resurgence of the Double-D’s. Dunkin’ is taking on Starbucks (!), starting in this market before taking the expansion plan nationwide.
