RE: KABOOM TOWN

|

A Plano-dwelling FrontBurnervian, frustrated by idiotic traffic planning, writes with fury (I have edited out all of the excessive punctuation designed to indicate EXTREME anger!!!!):

Who comes up with the traffic-routing after the event? It must be a severely disturbed individual, because a monkey could tell that it’s not working (it’s the same at every big event). Whoever thought that it would be a good idea to force someone who drives east on Belt Line and wants to go north onto the Tollway to go on the SOUTH access road and then block off all left turns down to LBJ? So instead of getting out of their hair, getting to my Frisco destination in 15 minutes, I am part of the traffic jam, taking an HOUR to get to 635, where I finally can turn around and get on the Tollway in the right direction!?

And have you noticed that all the back-ups are around the places where the cops are directing traffic and then CLEAR UP where they just leave the traffic lights on!? I mean, doesn’t logic tell them that when you BLOCK roads that are
usually available and guide all traffic onto the SAME ROAD that it’ll get congested? I sure hope somebody else is doing their emergency planning, because if they ever need an evacuation and they plan like this, we’re all going to die!
