FIREWORKS SALES LOSE SPARKLE

Just in case you weren’t aware, thanks to “severe drought conditions,” there is a total fireworks ban for Dallas and surrounding counties in the North Texas area. That has led to woeful fireworks sales, as detailed here in DMN. So much for setting off the Black Cats in your neighbor’s trashcan, shooting bottle rockets from your buddy’s convertible, Roman Candle wars, and all the other fun stuff we used to do.
