RE: WRIGHT SETTLED?

|

Not so fast. A source-having, People-friendly FrontBurnervian passes along what he’s heard:

Just heard from a source that, at the Dallas City Council this morning, Mayor Miller postponed the vote authorizing the concurrent resolution by the cities for two weeks. The vote was supposed to happen this afternoon, after the much-anticipated news conference announcing the cities’ compromise. The news conference is postponed at the moment, according to her chief of staff. Council members still do not know if they will vote on the resolution in two weeks or not. Apparently, the council feels the decision has been rushed, they appear uninformed about the mayors’ discussions, and they are not prepared to vote. Without the council’s support, Miller postponed the vote.

Developing.
