LUV COMPROMISE?

|

A Wright-thinking FBvian asks:

Why no play on the Wright compromise? Channel 8 is reporting that Her Honor and FW have agreed on a deal that kicks out AA, allows for through ticketing, and phases out Wright–over 9 years. That’s right! Free love–in 2014! Not to mention that her pet Trinity project is running so far over budget that it’s like a Calatrava Spruce Goose.

I don’t know what is more surprising: that Belo properties have actually done some reporting today or that Laura Miller is running this city with about as much foresight as Steve Blow uses to write his columns.

They are calling it a “possible compromise” on the DMN site. Didn’t think it was time to get excited yet.

Update: A FBvian with a dog in this fight tells us, “This thing isn’t close to being agreed upon (by any party).”
