Sometimes it’s just too easy. Not even sporting.
Our earlier evil premonition that some columnist at the DMN would try to answer Pulitzer Prize-winning humorist Dave Barry’s take-down of Dallas has come all too true. And yes, I was thinking it would be Steve Blow, but I dared not hope. How bad will it be? We were tipped to Blow’s preview OF HIS OWN COLUMN!!!!! by a staffer at the paper, who apparently is feeling the pain for all in Belo-ville. But the pain ain’t but started. We warned about a cliche-a-thon to come, and it’s already delivered with this memorable Blow to literary decency, a withering riposte against Miami:
Here’s my working premise: “It’s not the heat that bothers you, it’s the stupidity.”

[And, in the near future, in a dim lounge somewhere near the airport] Stop it, you’re killing me! Seriously! Now, about those Cubans…No, not ours (rim shot)…Hey, thanks, I’m here all week…..
