That’s the message the Dallas branch of the National Education Association sent to its teachers, in response to tonight’s school board meeting about DISD’s proposed personnel changes. The changes basically involve layoffs, Allen Gwinn argues, and who would get to layoff whom without first seeking approval from whomever else.

Interesting sidenote: Gwinn hears from many sources that qualified teachers are being fired and replaced at DISD with inexperienced ones who can speak Spanish. But Gwinn says he has yet to speak with a teacher fired for said claim.
