CASE SKETCH: The defendant allegedly shot Freeman and Jimenez to death for no apparent reason. Freeman died as a result of his injuries. Freeman and Jimenez had approached the defendant in his front yard. Freeman asked the defendant if he could help with yard work to get some money for food. The defendant said no, and the men left. The defendant then allegedly grabbed an AK-47 out of his truck, chased the complainants across the street, and shot them.
