A paper-missing FBvian tells us that the walkout affected his ability to live better here:

No one on my block (including me) got a Sunday Dallas Morning News delivery. I live in the Mockingbird and Abrams area. When I called the subscriber number and spoke to the rep and asked for an explanation, he would only say that they’d get a paper out as soon as possible.

Interestingly enough, the outgoing message said that due to “unforseen circumstances,” those home delivery subscribers in the Southlake, South Grapevine, and Keller areas wouldn’t get their Sunday paper before 8:30 a.m.

Hey, it’s a big paper. I’m sure these sorts of things happen all the time.
