By now, you know about Bishop T.D. Jakes and how his Potter’s House (with help from the mayor et al.) found homes and furnishings for most of the evacuees. He’s been tearing it up. And there’s no rest for the weary. I got this note from his publicist this morning:
Bishop left the country today. He’s taking 400 people to Kenya for a week with medical clinics, water wells, food and medicine delivery, 200 members of The Potter’s House choir recording a live album, events to try to stir business between Kenyan and U.S. business people. Pastors there expect about 400,000 people to show up when Bishop speaks in Nairobi’s city park.
