While his sheriff shooting cowboys metaphor has me scratching my head, Jim Schutze’s column this week is another dandy. He wants to know where D’Angelo Lee and Don Hill got those fancy cars. Now I want to know, too. Also, it should be noted, that Schutze’s point in the last couple of paragraphs–the fact that class sometimes trumps race–has been discussed before. D did a special report called “Race, Ethnicity, and Class” in January 2003.
