TURN IN YOUR SCORE CARDS

|

Adam and I played Tour 18 today. (Odd that I can’t find its official Web site. Perhaps because it recently changed ownership?) I shot a 95. He shot a 105 and played so poorly on the front nine that he was considering giving up golf altogether. The ninth hole, the island green par three? Can’t remember which famous hole it emulates. Sawgrass? Anyway, Adam put three balls into the water. Poor kid. Me? Thanks for asking. Missed my birdie putt. Alas.

Question, though: do people really fly into town just to play that course? I find that difficult to believe.
