THE WRIGHT WAY FOR SOUTHWEST TO DO IT?

|

An airborne FrontBurnervian has this to say about a recent Southwest flight:

When I checked in at the counter, the woman asked me the standard questions, then passed me a clipboard and asked me to sign it, saying that Southwest was trying to repeal the Wright Amendment. She did it in such a casual way, it was as if I was supposed to sign it in order to fly. That really caught me off-guard, and when I told her I was for the Wright Amendment, she looked at me blankly. That didn’t seem appropriate to me.

I’ll defer to the FrontBurnervian Nation on this one: what say ye?
