MAKE WAY FOR A NEW CHIEF JUSTICE

|

D.C. is all atwitter about a possible vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court, what with the average age of the justices being 117. This piece on the behind-the-scenes campaigns offers this subtle Dallas connection:

Miers is, among other things, a former member of the Dallas City Council, and Tracy Rowlett interviewed her for the magazine in the April issue.
