Warning to all Uptown party people: don’t drink and drive. The cops are cracking down in the neighborhood. A sober FBvian describes what happened last night:
The DUI Unit of Dallas PD set up the first of many roadblocks on McKinney Avenue to catch drunk drivers. They even had the mobile unit and a paddy wagon. Officers were checking basically all cars as they left Primo’s, Frankie’s, The Quarter, and the West Village and drove north down McKinney Ave., toward central. We were also told that they have about 15 cars hidden all over the neighborhood and are catching people like crazy!
