Attentive FrontBurnervians will recall the June 11 event much hyped in this space leading up to it. Attending FrontBurnervians know that the DLULT lived up to the hype. The marketing mavens (full disclosure: I’m married to one of them) expected about 400-450 people. The final tally was 610. And it went off without a hitch, as long as you don’t consider Wick ripping his pants “from stem to stern” a “hitch.” The buses were packed and on time. The food was free and delicious. The condos and townhomes were shiny and new. All in all, it was a huge success.
