Capell’s Circulation Report, a biweekly newsletter, is the bible of the magazine circulation business. This week it ranked the 10 Top Gainers in circulation over the last 10 years. D Magazine was Number 4, with a gain of 83.6 percent.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that the Nation, the weekly compendium of leftist fantasies, ranked Number 3. (Hot Bike and Cigar Aficionado were Numbers 1 and 2, respectively. I guess it was a good period for leftist cigar-smoking bikers from Dallas.)
