New Year’s Eve Celebrations & Bars

Babou’s

The lounge inside the Hotel Swexan is hosting a New Year’s Eve party with live music, an open bar, passed hors d’oeuvre, and a Champagne toast at midnight. Standing room only. $250 a person, bottle service reservations are also available. 2598 N. Harwood St.

Coupes

The Champagne bar will have three seatings on New Year’s Eve, two of which will have a four-course menu with three entrée options that run $110 per person, not including beverages. The last seating, at $60 a person, will include light bites and snacks. The bar’s full beverage service will be available. Reservations strongly recommended, but walk-ins are always welcome. 4234 Oak Lawn Ave.

Crown Block

The restaurant will host a Crown Room VIP party that will have live entertainment, dancing, passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations, and two drink tickets (plus a cash bar). $200 per person. 300 Reunion Blvd. E.

Happiest Hour

The bar’s party starts at 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Tickets start at $150 a person for access to the main level and patio and the open bar. A “Super Premium” ticket is $250 a person for access to the rooftop, open bar, and a buffet. Tickets may be purchased online. 2616 Olive St.

Henry’s Majestic

The restaurant-bar is breaking in its new location with a ‘90s-themed party on New Year’s Eve. A live band will play from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and then a DJ takes over until the ball drops. Guests are encouraged to dress on theme, so come in your best neon gear. No cover charge. Reservations recommended. 2303 Pittman St.

Hotel Vin

The hotel is throwing an ‘80s-themed party on New Year’s Eve, which will include live covers of ‘80s music, a 360-degree photo booth, roulette tables, blackjack, and a balloon drop at midnight. Grab a ticket to the party, or tack on a dinner for an extra cost. The VIP package includes access to a lounge, bottle service, and a personal server. Tickets start at $100. 215 E. Dallas Rd., Grapevine.  

Komodo Lounge

The hotspot Deep Ellum lounge will celebrate the new year with a Shangri-La celebration. The night will have a live DJ, craft cocktails, and dancing. Tickets start $75 for general admission. 2550 Pacific Ave., Ste. 220.

Monarch and Kessaku

The restaurant and bar on the 49th and 50th floors of the Thompson Hotel are hosting a dinner and a party. The space will become a “Royal French Court” to celebrate the night Marie Antoinette-style. Monarch, starting at $250 per person, offers a four-course dinner. For an additional $250, guests can gain early access to the party that will bleed into Kessaku later in the night. For just the party, tickets are $400 each and will include a Champagne welcome, 4-hour access to an open bar, a midnight toast, and heavy passed hors d’oeuvres. The party starts at 9 p.m. Reservations recommended. Dinner reservations can be booked online (click here for window seating, $300 each) with the option to add party tickets. Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar

Both locations of the piano bar will host NYE celebrations with party favors, singing, dancing, and drinks. In Fort Worth, reservations start at $300 for a table of four and include a bottle of Champagne, party favors, and the bar’s signature bathtub cocktail. In Frisco, reserved seating is $75 a person and includes the bathtub cocktail, a bottle of Champagne, and party favors. General admission is $25 and comes with a Champagne toast at midnight. SĒR Steak and Spirits

SĒR is hosting its 2nd Annual Ruby + Gold NYE party with an open bar, eight culinary stations, and a live DJ. Tickets start at $280, with prices increasing after Dec. 11, and can be purchased online. A hotel party package is also available for those who need to stay a night at the Hilton Anatole. Tickets can be purchased online. 2201 N. Stemmons Fwy., Floor 27.

Revelers Hall

A party at the live music venue will have a full bar and a menu featuring flatbreads, cheese boards, wings, burgers, and more. Take advantage of drink specials, and find NYE hats and horns scattered throughout the bar. The Revelers Hall Band will play from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Patrick Pombuena’s Community Orchestrawill be on from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and the Revelers Ball will be on from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. 412 N. Rodeo Bar

Rodeo Bar will be open until 2 a.m. and guests can enjoy a Miller High Life “Champagne Toast” at midnight and live music. 1321 Commerce St.

Virgin Hotels

A NYE bash called the Disco Heaven NYE Party will take place on the fourth floor of the hotel. Dress in your best silvery getup for three hours of access to the bar, food stations, and views of the Dallas skyline. VIP tables are also available with bottle service. Winter Village at The Adolphus

The Adolphus’ rooftop has been transformed into the Winter Village Ski Lodge for the season, and it’ll be open New Year’s Eve. Enjoy winter yurts, cozy up in blankets, and sip on warm cocktails while eating s’mores. Available from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. 1321 Commerce St.

New Year’s Eve Dinner

III Forks

III Forks will serve its regular menu served from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. If you prefer a cozy celebration at home, the iconic steakhouse has family-style sides and sparkling wines to-go for your year-end festivities. Make reservations and place orders by calling 972-267-1776. 1303 Legacy Dr., Frisco.

97 West Kitchen and Bar

A four-course menu includes choices of hors d’oeuvres such as wellington bites or crab cakes, starters such as arugula salad, and mains like lobster ravioli. Wrap it up with devil’s food cake or butter cake. A kids’ menu is also available with mac and cheese, chicken bites, or 6 oz. ribeye. $135 for adults, $35 for kids under 12, free for kids under 5. Apothecary

The bar will serve a five-course meal with an option to upgrade to seven courses. Apothecary will offer a cocktail pairing or wine pairing with the menu. $125 per person for the five-course meal. Wine pairing is $40 for regular wine, $75 for premium wine, and $50 for the cocktail pairing. Reservations recommended. 1922 Greenville Ave.

Black Agave 

Black Agave will ring in the new year with a prix fixe menu featuring five courses from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. The dinner will be available for $60 plus tax and gratuity. Cantina Laredo

Cantina Laredo will have a special menu from Dec. 29 to Dec. 31. A three-course meal includes choices of some of the restaurant’s most popular items and cocktails such as fajitas tres, grilled salmon, and the Grand Sangria. $38 a person. Commons Club

The restaurant and bar at the Virgin Hotel has two prix-fixe menus to choose from for New Year’s Eve dinner. The next day, brunch is also available with pancakes, mimosas, and a DJ. Reservations recommended. 1445 Turtle Creek Blvd.  

Crown Block

The restaurant at the top of the Reunion Tower will have two dinner seatings on New Year’s Eve with access to a holiday prix-fixe menu that includes Maine lobster, king crab legs, salmon ceviche, cavatelli pasta with roasted artichokes, Akaushi wagyu beef tenderloin, and a selection of desserts. The earlier seating, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., is $175 a person, and the later seating from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. is $325 a person. Guests at the later seating will have an extended holiday prix-fixe menu and a Champagne toast. Cut and Bourbon

A five-course prix fixe dinner will include live music and choices for diners that include porcini-truffle risotto, grilled octopus, pan-roasted halibut, black truffle-glazed duck breast, and more. The meal comes with New Year’s Eve party favors, free valet parking, and a glass of Champagne to toast at midnight. $140. Reservations required. 1600 E. Randol Mill Rd.

Dolce Riviera

The Italian restaurant will be open for brunch with its regular menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., but for dinner will feature a three-course dinner with wine pairings. The courses include choices such as scallop crudo, tortellini and clams, whole roasted branzino, chicken cacciatore, a cannoli trio, and more. $95 for dinner only, $140 for the wine pairing addition. Reservations recommended. 2950 N. Harwood St.

Elephant East

The Asian-inspired restaurant will offer a three-course prix-fixe dinner menu for $85 per guest. Choices include misua soup, aged tofu, apricot-ginger-glazed duck breast, Asian pork roulade, and two kinds of desserts. Reservations recommended. 2823 McKinnon St.

Fearing’s

A four-course meal includes choices of entrees such as prime beef wellington, mustard/herb-crusted lamb loin, and pan-seared John Dory. $275 a person, $50 for kids under 12, $90 for vegetarians. Reservations recommended. 2121 McKinney Ave.  

The Finch

A New Year’s Eve dinner includes four courses of the diner’s choice and a midnight Champagne toast. $70 a person with an optional $45 wine pairing. Reservations can be made online for the Dallas and Grand Prairie locations. 5307 E. Mockingbird Ln., Ste. 150; 2955 S. State Hwy. 161, Grand Prairie.

Gemma

Gorji

Harper’s

Harper’s will offer a New Year’s Eve four-course dinner that includes an amuse bouche. $75 per person. Reservations recommended. 2525 Elm St., Ste. 150.

Holy Grail Pub

For $65, Holy Grail Pub will serve dinner and drinks that include deconstructed scallop ceviche, mushroom vol au vent, smoked beef tenderloin Oscar, and goat cheese mousse with black cherry confit and honey candies. Isabelle’s

Isabelle’s will be open on New Year’s Eve from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. and offer a New Year’s Eve brunch along with a small bites truffle tasting for $125. Reservations recommended. 2575 McKinnon St.

Kona Grill

On Dec. 31, the restaurant will have smoke salmon nova lox, prime rib surf & turf, parmesan-crusted sole, and warm molten lava cake. The all-day menu will also be available. Diners may dine-in or carry out. Reservations recommended. 8687 N. Central Expy.; 5973 W. Parker Rd., Plano.

La Neta Cocina y Lounge

La Neta will be offering a prix fixe dinner menu with two seatings: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close. The dinner menu includes choices of appetizers, soup, an entrée such as wellington a la Mexican, branzino en adobo, and chile relleno, and a strawberry tamale for dessert. Reservations recommended. 2525 Elm St., Ste. 175.

Mercat Bistro

The French-inspired restaurant has its regular menu for brunch. Dinner is a four-course prix-fixe meal priced at $85 per person. The special menu includes foie gras terrine, caramelized onion tart, apple salad, Texas quail, and more. A wine pairing can be added for $45. Reservations recommended. 2501 N Harwood St., Ste. 225.

Nora Restaurant and Bar

The restaurant will host a New Year’s Eve “Supper Club” from 9 p.m. to 1 p.m. with live music, an open bar, a Champagne toast, and small bites to go along with a dinner that is available to add on. $150 for party tickets. Tickets may be purchased online. 205 N. Bishop Ave.

Ocean Prime

The restaurant will serve a Chilean Sea Bass with blue crab, shallot and parmesan gratin, asparagus, buttered leeks, lemon herb vin blanc, and toasted garlic for $72. The regular menu is also available. 2101 Cedar Springs Rd., Ste 150.

Pappas Bros. Steakhouse

A four-course prix-fixe menu includes your choice of filet mignon, prime rib, prime New York strip, veal chop, grilled double-cut Colorado lamb chops, or broiled Ora king salmon. Sides include fresh asparagus, roasted mushrooms, au gratin potatoes, and more. A large selection of appetizers and desserts are available as well. Reservations recommended. 10477 Lombardy Ln.

Rye

The restaurant will serve a five-course meal with an option to upgrade to seven courses. Beverages may be ordered à la carte, but there’s also an optional wine pairing. $125 per person for the five-course meal. Wine pairing is $40 for regular wine and $75 for premium wine. The Mansion

A six-course tasting menu includes dishes such as half-moon bay artichoke topped with a black truffle panna cotta, Hokkaido scallop with a creamy champagne sabayon, parsnip and celery risotto, and a chocolate brownie with salted caramel. $225 per adult, with an additional classic wine pairing for $160 or “elite” wine pairing for $195, and $75 per child, ages 4 to 12. Sachet

A five-course menu (plus amuse bouche and intermezzo, and a welcome drink) will be offered. There will be two choices available for each course. The Saint

A four-course dinner will feature Texas wagyu steak tartare, 8 oz. prime filet mignon, Maine lobster arancini, and tableside orange cello crème brûlée. Two seating options are available: from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for $175 a person, and from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for $195 a person. Reservations recommended. 2633 Gaston Ave.  

Saint Ann

A three-course prix-fixe dinner runs for $75 a guest. It includes an amuse of tuna tartare, choices for a first and second course, and a dessert. Reservations recommended. 2501 N. Harwood St.

Sloane’s Corner

A three-course dinner will be served for $65 a person. On New Year’s Day, Sloane’s will be open for brunch. Reservations recommended. 2001 Ross Ave., Ste. 125.  

Stillwell’s

Stillwell’s will be open New Year’s Eve from 5 p.m. to midnight and will feature holiday specials and its full menu. The restaurant will offer a four-course prix fixe menu starting at $175 per guest for the first seating. Reservations recommended. 2575 McKinnon St.

STIRR

The bar and restaurant will have a four-course New Year’s Eve dinner and a rooftop party at both locations. The dinner is $60 a person and includes a Champagne toast. Reservations can be made online for the Dallas and Addison locations. 2803 Main St., Ste. 110; 5100 Belt Line Rd., Ste. 540.

Sushi | Bar

The new restaurant is featuring a special omakase menu for New Year’s Eve that includes seasonal bites throughout the 17 courses and a sake or wine pairing. The seating also includes a complimentary Champagne toast. Starting at $325 a person. Reservations available here. 2111 Jackson St.

Te Deseo

A three-course dinner includes choice of a soup or salad, an entrée, sides, and a dessert for $95. To add a wine pairing is $140. A New Year’s Eve bash will also start at 9 p.m. and will include access to an open bar for $125 a person. Reservations may be booked online. 2700 Olive St.

Truluck’s

A three-course menu includes choices from a massive menu with oysters, shrimp cocktails, lobster bisque, a stone crab claw platter, and steaks. Choose from three different desserts to end the meal: carrot cake, chocolate malt cake, and key lime pie. Reservations recommended. Multiple locations.   

Uchi

Uchi will have a New Year’s Eve omakase tasting menu with courses such as oyster with uni foam, wagyu carpaccio, shima aji crudo, and much more. $450 for two people. Reservations can be made online. 2817 Maple Ave.

Uchibā

Uchi’s sister restaurant will also have an omakase tasting menu on New Year’s Eve, with duck dumplings, a nigiri selection, bluefin otoro, and more. $295 for two people. Reservations recommended. 2817 Maple Ave., Floor 2.

Urban Seafood Company

The restaurant is hosting a “Bubbles Around the World Dinner” starting at 8:30 p.m. that will include Champagne pairings to go along with a four-course meal. Tickets are $95 a person. 1104 14th St., Plano.

Dolce Riviera

Dolce Riviera will have a New Year’s Day brunch buffet on Jan. 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For $85 per person, guests can enjoy an omelet bar, bruschetta bar, carving station, and dessert station. Beverage packages will also be available. Reservations recommended.  2950 N. Harwood St.

Haywire

Ida Claire 

Claire is celebrating 7 Days of Brunch, which starts the day after Christmas up until New Year’s Day. Brunch will be hosted weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on the weekend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations can be made at ida-claire.com or on OpenTable. 5001 Belt Line Rd.

Kona Grill

Mexican Sugar 

On New Year’s Day, Mexican Sugar will host brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mexican Sugar in Plano and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mexican Sugar in Uptown and Las Colinas on New Year’s Day. Reservations can be made at mexicansugarcocina.com. Multiple locations.

The Ranch in Las Colinas

The Ranch is celebrating New Year’s Eve with a Hill Country-inspired brunch starting at 11 a.m. Reservations can be made at theranchlc.com. 857 W. John Carpenter Fwy., Irving.

Sixty Vines 

Sixty Vines will have a vineyard-inspired brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on New Year’s Day. On the drink list: sustainable wines on tap and hand-crafted cocktails. Reservations can be made at sixtyvines.com. 500 Crescent Ct., Ste. 160.; 3701 Dallas Pkwy.  

Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar
