The season of outdoor film and wine on the patio begins. Next Wednesday, May 17, sommelier Hayley Hamilton Cogill, whose byline you will recognize from her wine writing on this blog, joins film critic Gary Cogill for the second of Fearing’s “Film Flubs and Fabulous Wines” series held at the outdoor Live Oak bar, “featuring clips of some of the craziest mistakes in film that made it through to the final cut.”

The wine-film crossover will take the form of pours from the regions in which the films are set, with conversation and light bites accompanying.

From the event description:

“Dinner service in Fearing’s begins at 6:00 p.m., the performance opens at 7:30 p.m. Come for dinner, stay for the show, follow it up with cocktails and conversation in the beautiful Live Oak Bar & Patio. For dinner reservations call 214-922-4848.

Ticket price guarantees a seat, full wine tasting and paired light bites. Additional wines & cocktails will be for sale as well.”
