Benton’s country ham, anyone? On Thursday, all Central Market locations are featuring a “Stroll Through the South” party as part of their Taste of the South celebration that continues until May 30. Think of this as a grazing opportunity. You will be welcomed with a cool drink, and the aisles will be filled with samples such as biscuits, butters and honeys, Mississippi Mud Pie, Kentucky cheeses, and the aforementioned country ham. It’s all free from 5 to 7 p.m. Just register online so they know how much food to prepare. Also check out the cooking class calendar.
