Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival and Chili Cook-Off
Love the blues? Love chili? Then we have the perfect event for you. This Friday and Saturday there is a free festival where guests can indulge in a chili cook-off and listen to upbeat live music. With beer, concessions, kids zones, and a rose garden, the Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival & Chili Cook-Off is guaranteed fun for all. The event takes place at the Farmers Branch Historical Park. Parktoberfest
Get your brews, get your brats, and get your beats. This Saturday, enjoy craft beer, live music, pretzels, brats, and giveaways at the SHops at Park Lane. VIP tickets are $30, and include three beers, a pretzel, and a brat. Tickets are $10 at the door, but your kiddos under 12 are free. Sounds like a good family fun day to us.

Pitmasters Picnic: Dia de los Carnes
The fourth annual Pitmasters Picnic will be held in Thanksgiving Square in Dallas. The event features barbecue pros like Nick Pencis, Travis Heim, and Jeff Bergus, you will be able to eat your fill of ‘cue and wash it down with a cold beer or glass of wine. More details can be found here.

Mid Cities Greek FoodFest

Add a little Greek to your weekend by attending the Mid Cities Greek FoodFest. We recommend going hungry, and bringing your dance moves.
