Butler’s Texas Gold is a gourmet barbecue sauce made in Carrollton by Dallas native, Mark Butler. The sauce is a family recipe that Mark decided to share with the public after receiving numerous requests from friends and acquaintances after they had eaten it.

Texas Gold is an apple cider vinegar and mustard-based gourmet sauce. It pairs well with all meats and most vegetables for grilling and stove top cooking. Because the sauce contains no sugar, it will not caramelize or burn so it can be added several times during the cooking process. No sugar is a big plus to most people searching out a new barbecue sauce.

Butler’s has numerous recipes on their website, including one for Texas Gold chicken, potato salad, and gourmet cucumber dip. You can find Butler’s Texas Gold at Central Market, Kroger, Albertson’s, and more. Visit their site to find out more about their product and view tasty recipes.
