The cover of our February Best Breakfast issue caused quite a commotion in our hungry community. Once the magazine hit the stands, our phones and inboxes blew up. Readers wanted to know where they could eat the plate of food featured on the cover. We had to tell them the truth. We bought the photograph, a stylized composition referred to as a stock photo.

The calls continued. Our marketing department hit the phones. They found five restaurants willing to make this breakfast, or get as close to reproducing it as possible (three sent photos!). Thanks to Lucky’s Cafe, Norma’s, The Diner of Dallas, Original Market Diner, and Dream Café, you can now order “The D Magazine Breakfast Special.”

Go. Eat. Report.

Original Market Diner
