This Saturday will be rockin’ in the Big D, especially for the foodies. Take your pick of this weekend’s events and satisfy your inner food critic. Get outside to enjoy the fall(ish) weather and some Texas-sized snacking.

Texas Veggie Fair
Get your chill on at the 6th annual Texas Veggie Fair this Saturday at Reverchon Park. The event celebrates plant-based lifestyles of all kinds, and will provide an array of vendors, children’s activities, yoga, and live music. The event runs from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Tacolandia
Leave the kids at home for this one and enjoy some cocktails with your tacos. Head down to City Hall Plaza Saturday afternoon for the first-ever Tacolandia event. Beer and cocktails will be available for purchase to complement the unlimited food samples from the registered vendors. Doors open at 3 p.m. for VIPs ($65-$80) and 4 p.m. for the regular crowd ($25 to $40). The taco creations will run the gamut from traditional old-school to modern urban fare, so be sure to show up with an empty stomach and cash in hand.

Cocktails and Conversation
This new event kicked off last weekend and will be continuing every Saturday. Head downtown to the Dallas Fish Market anytime between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. and bounce to the beats of DJ STETRA while enjoying beer and wine drink specials and the regular sushi and dinner menus. Round out your Saturday with an evening of sipping, savoring, and socializing.

Texas Craft Beer Festival
The Craft Beer Festival will aid in closing out the State Fair on its final weekend. More than 70 Texas breweries will be showing their products and offering samples inside the Cotton Bowl. Take a break from the fried everything and sip on some locally crafted brews. The event runs from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
