Talk about a non-bitter comeback.

Screen Shot 2015-08-26 at 4.04.08 PM Last week D Magazine staff sipped on a variety of local session IPAs for our weekly Taste Test feature. The results of the blind tasting (the cans were completely blacked out) were in favor of Deep Ellum Brewing Co.’s Easy Peasy IPA, leaving Community’s Sundial Session IPA and Lakewood’s Hopochondria in the dust.

This afternoon, in response to the taste test, Lakewood Brewing Company announced via their Facebook page that they will donate 100% of their taproom sales of Hopochondria to supply The Stewpot with new socks. This will take place from now through the end of North Texas Beer Week (November 15).

Talk about a non-bitter comeback.
