The Dallas Pho Invasion

Five minutes ago, Nancy called and screamed through my iPhone, “We’re being invaded by Vietnam! It’s like they’re getting us back with bad pho!”

(To her credit, she says she had a lot of coffee this morning.)

Nancy’s on the road and doesn’t have the hands to post this, so I get to play Hermes today. She’s discovered two pho restaurants in the last 24 hours. One is called 45 Mint Vietnamese Bistro at 14902 Preston Road in North Dallas. She ate there yesterday and says, “My lips are still puckered from the salt.”

Another pho restaurant has taken the place of the ex-Luna de Noche at Forest Lane and North Central Expressway. The space is now I Heart (with the actual symbol) Pho. Most original name, ever.

I live in Carrollton, a city sprouting new Vietnamese restaurants by the hour, so this pho invasion doesn’t feel new to me. Is Dallas being invaded by bad pho? Leave your thoughts down below.
