nammi sign

One of the first Dallas-based food trucks, Nammi Vietnamese, is opening a brick ‘n’ mortar operation.  Owners Gary Torres and Teena Ng told us:  “We hung our sign in front of our commercial kitchen at Valley View Mall and the tweets start coming in. And everyone thought this mall was dead…”  He adds: “It’s actually more of a to-go than a restaurant. We are planning on extending our menu and playing with cold beverages.  It’s our little ‘test kitchen’.

On Tuesday, look for several food trucks at Sprouts on Marsh.  Trucks include Rock ‘n’ Roll Tacos, Tutta’s Pizza, Gypsy Scoops, Maui Wowi, Lucky Ducky Dogs, Yellow Belly, PompeiiDFW, and The Gauva Tree.

Lots of trucks will be out for various patriotic events on July 4th.  But lots of trucks are off for the entire week.  You’ll find our schedule a bit lean as many of the food trucks take vacation.

You’ll also see a minor improvement on the schedule, as we add FlyBy Food Truck Park’s schedule.

Jump for the schedule, and always remember to check Facebook and Twitter.
