Whole Foods’ Street Food Festival

Don’t we all wish we could escape these storms and trot off to the Caribbeans? According to Whole Foods, there’s no need to leave your home this weekend since it’s bringing global cuisine right to your neighborhood. Whole Foods Market’s eight DFW stores are having a three-day Street Food Festival celebrating the creativity of international street food vendors for some family fun.

Friday, March 23rd – Sunday, March 25 from 12-5pm, each store will be packed with fun activities including tastings of exotic recipes from countries around the globe.
Friday, March 23rd – Hot Dogs from Around the World. It’s not just mustard on these dogs!

Saturday, March 24th – Tacos! We’re going beyond Tex-Mex, come taste these flavors inspired by the cuisine of far-away places.

Sunday, March 25th – Food on a stick. The quintessential street food, it’s a meal or a snack. You’d be amazed how many kinds of foods can be served on a stick.

Join our Park Lane store on Friday the 23rd from 6:30-8:30 for a “Street Food Festival Dinner”
Savor an exclusive meal rich in culture and flavor. $35, RSVP’s required. This is an international culinary experience you don’t want to miss. Our acclaimed chefs will present hand-crafted menu items featuring local dishes from around the world. Menu highlights include:
◦Mini Banh Mi Sandwiches from Vietnam
◦Tacos Al Pastor and Elotes from Mexico
◦Ukrainian Peirogies
◦Eggplant Caponata from Sicily
◦Chicken Brochettes from Morocco
Beverages included; ages 21 and up.
