I didn’t like his seemingly off-the-cuff remark about In-N-Out and the French Laundry either, but I like the defense he used. Also: Agreed on the greatness of the Hog Island oysters at the Ferry Building in SF, beef cheek at Babbo and bone marrow at Blue Ribbon.
