In the January/February issue of D Home, we profiled eight cool people creating all manner of hand-crafted goodness here in our fair city. Shay Ometz and her husband Jeff Barfoot were among the supremely talented artists, artisans, and designers featured. In addition to parenting two kiddos and working day jobs, the husband-and-wife duo also co-helm design and illustration company Bee Things, turning out, “art prints, posters, apparel, and products for the home, kiddos, and kids at heart.” Their designs have also been picked up by the likes of Land of Nod and Crate and Barrel.

Not surprisingly, they also boast a rather awesome abode filled with art, interesting objects, vintage finds, and books (oh my the books). Yep, we featured it too (January/February 2011 D Home). Check out more snaps of their home after the jump.
