a little arm candy

Almost every morning our four year old bursts into our bedroom at the crack of dawn. Often fully dressed, she announces “surprise!” with arms spread wide to show off her creative combination of togs. Occasionally I intervene, but a whimsical necklace or an armful of bracelets usually pulls together even the zaniest of outfits while leaving sartorial confidence in tact.

Maybe that’s why all the displays of mini-bracelets around town are catching my eye lately. I recently scooped up a few braided leather numbers in jewel tones at Kid Biz and the displays at Crewcuts and Peek Kids are pretty tempting. Thinking any of these would be playfully chic stacked with some diy versions on a little arm….and they’re a nice addition to the gift closet too.
