Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is doing the Uptown shuffle, relocating to a two-story space at the buzzy Park District development.

“We are so honored to have built such a loyal following over the past decade in Uptown and are thrilled to have the opportunity to move into an amazing, new space right down the street that will be perfect for the Perry’s experience,” said Chris Perry, founder and owner of Perry’s Restaurants.

Developed by Trammell Crow Co. and MetLife Investment Management, the 900,000 square-foot Park District sits along Klyde Warren Park at North Pearl Street. Perry’s will fill two roles in the mixed-use tower, with dedicated watering hole Bar 79 on the first floor and the entire second floor serving as the restaurant’s main dining room.

Perry has selected Aria Group Architects to design the new 12,900 square-foot space. The current Perry’s Uptown will remain in business at 2000 McKinney Ave. until it’s time to move to its new digs in the latter half of this year.
