Lady Gaga is a woman with copious talent, from singing to dancing to acting, but her attire is what really turns heads. With her meat dresses and bubble ensembles, Gaga has become a style icon. She can thank fashion designer Iris van Herpen, whose other clients include Beyoncé and Bjork. In honor of the Dutch artist’s work, much of which is currently on display in an exhibition at the Dallas Museum of Art, and in tribute to the Little Monsters of Dallas, the museum will host a Lady Gaga costume contest tonight
Contestants must sign up between 6 and 6:45 p.m. and purchase a Late Night ticket. The contest is limited to the first 50 people who enter. The winner, chosen by select judges, will receive a $100 gift certificate to the DMA store and a copy of the Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion catalogue. The show starts at 7 p.m. and is open to anyone with a ticket to the museum’s late night programming. (DMA members receive free entry). So bring your best wigs, most imaginative outfits, and tallest heels, because this contest is sure to be as colorful and fun as Lady Gaga is.
