RE: TRUTH IN ADVERTISING

|

Joe Palladino (who I still say wears the finest neckties in this city) has this to say about the Medici billboard:

Honestly, I’ve been anticipating the billboard signage at McKinney & Hall for quite awhile. My opinion is that it’s an exceptional location in Uptown to advertise our venues. Having said that, when it came available in September, I thought, Why not promote Medici for a couple of months, until we realized the original intention of utilizing the billboard space for our new concept, the pizza joint that we’ll unveil below Medici in November?

At any rate, I got a call from an old buddy in Vegas who indicated I may have made a bit of an issue of the trademarked Sin City phrase “What happens in Vegas [Medici].” So I decided on Tuesday to tarp the original and re-strategize.

Lastly, and most important, we are very sensitive to the tragedy that occurred last February and any innuendo otherwise is completely unintentional.
