Dallas Is Adding Parks. The Trust For Public Land is a nonprofit that, among many other things, ranks cities based on how many of their residents have a park located within a 10-minute walk. Dallas jumped 10 spots this year, Sharon Grigsby reports, largely because of the investment of the city’s parks department and nonprofits like the TPL. We’re now No. 43, coming for Austin’s 41.
