Medical City Dallas Will Open New Heart and Spine Hospitals

Medical City Heart Hospital and Medical City Spine Hospital will soon be offering specialized cardiovascular and spine care at the Medical City Dallas location.

The new heart hospital will include 63 private patient rooms and a cardiac services such as vascular and heart surgery, heart failure treatment, and minimally invasive vascular surgery. It will have the only dedicated cardiac emergency room in the city.

The spine hospital will treat common spine disorders and deformities including scoliosis, spondylolistheses, and other complex spine surgery. The 24-bed facility will coordinate care and provide space for scoliosis research. Both hospitals will be outfitted with spacious rooms, food from a Wolfgang Puck-trained chef, smart TVs in the room, and concierge care.

The two new hospitals will be housed an existing building which is currently vacant. The original hospital will still serve the heart and spine, but there will be advanced care at the new facilities.
