Jae Schmidt has joined the HCA North Texas Division as Vice President of Neurosciences, Orthopedics, and Rehab Services.

Jae spent 15 years at Emory University School of Medicine/Emory Healthcare where he held various leadership roles in the departments of surgery, rehabilitation and neurosurgery.  These roles included practice management, clinical administration and service line responsibility.  His most recent role at Emory was with the Department of Neurosurgery and MBNA Stroke Center, one of the preeminent neurosciences academic centers in the US. Over the last year, Jae has worked with Culbert Healthcare Solutions as practice director, working with clients in strategic planning, physician alignment and medical staff development.

Jae holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from Goucher College in Towson, MD and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta.
