Haymaker closes:
The Lowest Greenville restaurant and bar has closed. Their Austin location is still open, though.

Velvet Taco to open third North Texas location:
The funky, fast-casual taco joint will open its third North Texas location on Monday, December 18 at 4622 Greenville Ave. According to the release:

“The new restaurant marks the fifth Velvet Taco in Texas and the sixth system-wide, with several more locations set to open in 2018. Dallas’ new Velvet Taco will be the first location to feature a drive-thru, so guests can order ahead and conveniently swing by the restaurant to pick it up. To ensure that your tacos are ready upon arrival, use Velvet Taco’s new mobile app or order online at velvettaco.olo.com.”
