D Magazine Partners is pleased to announce that Joey Conicella has joined the company as publisher of D Home magazine.

Conicella, a first-time Dallas resident, comes from Philadelphia, where he served on the senior leadership team for ChatterBlast Media— a creative agency that focuses on storytelling through social media. For nearly two years, he operated as a strategic mind for clients such as Comcast and the Philadelphia Flower Show to drive business development efforts forward.

His roots in publishing go deep. He began his marketing career as an account executive for Philadelphia Magazine and an account manager for Hartle Media. He developed competitive business strategies to monetize the organization’s digital presence and organized one of the most successful showhouse projects in the country.

“I look forward to bringing my marketing expertise to D Home’s clients and creating true partnerships that add to our partners’ bottom lines. Media has changed dramatically over the past decade, and I have been fortunate to gain experience in a diverse set of industries. I know what works for businesses and I aim to bring that to the table on behalf of the D Home family,” Conicella said.

Dallas has also gained a new philanthropist. Conicella has volunteered as a committee member for A Gift for Teaching and Helpusadopt.org, helping to secure donations through savvy social media marketing strategies. He has also served in leadership capacities on nonprofit boards, including the UCF Alumni Association Nicholson School of Communications and the Philadelphia Gay Tourism Caucus.
