Last night, D Magazine headquarters was packed to the max with a mix of restaurant owners, chefs, and food enthusiasts. I led a panel discussion on the state of the current restaurant scene. The panel consisted of Lucian LaBarba, Shannon Wynne, and David Denney. Hot points questions: Are there too many new restaurants in Dallas? How are restaurants coping with the labor situation? What areas of Dallas are over saturated? Which areas are anemic?

Each panelist brought ideas and thoughts from their corner of the business and the result was a spirited debate with a lot of humor. The event is one in a series of D Magazine’s Happy Hour With an Agenda program. Our marketing team reports that our conversation last night was the longest and the loudest.

Yes, that’s how we roll. Let’s do it again! If you missed the discussion, put on your ear plugs and eye shades and listen to the podcast.
