Last week we talked about soup. As in where to find the best soup in Dallas. I asked you answered.
Ox-Bowl writes about “2 hearty soups in E. Dallas.” One is Pho from Ba Le where Ox-Bow recommends the “#11 on the menu with all the good stuff. The broth there is always good no need to add chile sauce or hoison sauce at all!” The other—caldo de res-is served at El Taquito on Grand. “It was huge and chock full of beef, corn, potatoes, onions, etc. The broth needed a little salt, but their house made hot sauce is something spicy special!”

Les Hall agrees with me. “I could eat soup every day.” Joeat shines some love on “three of the Trader Joe’s soups (boxes).” TheGuy raves about the “chowder and lobster bisque” at Daddy Jacks.”
Over on my Facebook page, friends touted. Posole from Cuquita and Vichyssoise from Central Market/Lovers, Sopa de Lima at Meso Maya, anything from Stocks & Bondy.

I think it’s safe to declare soup season is officially open. Join the conversation now. Tell what and where you ate this week.
