I don’t know about you ladies, but I’m feeling the need for some pampering time… in a big way. Somehow the fall craziness (i.e. carnivals, costumes, client deadlines and the like) have me craving a Calgon moment. While it’s not exactly lounging in a bath filled with cloyingly-scented bubbles, The Weekender Dallas happening this Friday and Saturday might just do the trick.
The two day event, hosted by The Luxi Society, is billed as a girls’ weekend out, with shopping, beauty consultations, food, and adult beverages (the adult beverages sealed the deal for me). The shindig takes place at a swank model home in Preston Hollow wherein over two dozen luxury brands will have their wares on offer. But the best part? The event helps benefit Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer.
