{Public string art in Seattle via the stranger}

A few months ago, I spotted a giant string art “Vince” logo in their Highland Park Village shop, and I’m still thinking about it.  It was graphic and modern and interesting and just, well…cool. (A far cry from the string art sailboats and owls of the 70s.) 

As our first official art project of 2012, I’m planning to make little string art creations with the girlies in the hopes that I’ll eventually muster enough confidence to execute a grand piece for a wall in my living room that’s long vexed me. 

I’ll let you know how it goes…
