Want to know how to get whatever you want for the rest of your life? Send your hunk of burnin’ love to Super Bowl XLV. Of course, it’s practically impossible to do. Tickets will be divvied among the most connected people and then the rest will be sold to the highest bidders. BUT! You can try your luck at the “Super Benefit” tailgate party at Ken’s Man’s Shop Thursday, where raffle tickets to winning a day at the game will be sold. (There are 1,964 tickets available, in honor of the shop opening in 1964.) The grand prize includes a pair of tickets, a game day brunch at Fearing’s, car service to and from the game, and an autographed, framed Troy Aikman jersey. Tickets are $200 a pop, and winners will be announced January 8 in the shop. Wondering where all the extra change goes from the losing tickets? That’s the best part. Proceeds are sent to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and the Bill Hunt Scholarship. Tickets are up for grabs until they’re all purchased up, but we say, head to the event for munchies, drinks, and tunes from Garland High School’s marching band, and grab your ticket on Day 1. Thursday, Sept. 16 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
